It's easy to uproot oneself when you have no roots to put down; when the locks are changed, and your room is filled with boxes so there's no bed to sleep in, and there's nothing to do but close your eyes and hope real hard - maybe sprout wings, and go on an adventure. A Stick as your sword and a Bandage as your cape, and an unexplored mountain where travelers are rumored to disappear.
